2 beautiful tracks by Gabrielle with the intermittent tjirps of a Song Thrush. Excerpt taken from my 6-hour finally-climbing-out-of-depression-mix Tamer's Grand Spring Affair (May '23).

Removed the first 21 seconds with an off-tone flute intro to be leftover with a magnificent cool jazz-funk groover.
My 'reprised' cut of the last few minutes of the record, performed by Louie Vega and his Elements Of Life band featuring Anané on vocals. Release: https://www.discogs.com/master/536534-Louie-Vega-Presents-Elements-Of-Life-Eclipse No copyright infringement intended.
Met Ramses Shaffy en Ischa Meijer, uit hun interview in het tv-programma I.S.C.H.A (1994).
The unreleased instrumental studio outtake of the Chic produced Sheila & B. Devotion track Your Love Is Good, from their hit album King Of The World (1980). The outtake is such an infectious groove, that the original playtime from 2.41 was a little too short, in my book. So i extended it a bit. Enjoy ;) Released on Nile Rodgers Presents The Chic Organization* – Box Set Vol. 1 / "Savoir Faire" in 2010. I do not own the rights to this song. No copyright infringement intended.
My simple edit of a 1975 Philly Soul classic, merging, rhythmically aligning and looping the instrumental cut twice, emerging in the original version around 1 minute 40. No adds of effects used. Just for the love of music. -- T.S. (16/12/25)
My Richard Nixon-sample free rendition of this Todd's and Heaven-classic, 2 iconic Detroit discotheques from back in the day, as well as a Paradise Garage and Loft favourite. You are listening to the irresistible Souped-Up Mix by Don Was (1952-) and the criminally unsung pioneer dj/producer a.k.a. 'The Godfather of Detroit House', Ken Collier (1949-1996). Vocal cameo from Dutch poet, writer and psychonaut Simon Vinkenoog (1928-2009). Originally released on Island Records, 1981. Stop The War
My 2 minutes 23 seconds reprise of Simply Red's 1995 global chart-topping hit "Fairground", performed live on the summers evening of 23 July 2003 in the majestic scenery of the ruins in Taormina, Sicily for a dvd-recording, enjoyed by one lucky (Italian) bunch of people. I didn't do much special, looped the 0:13 seconds break where Dave Clayton's captivating rhodesriff emerges and Mick, Dee Johnson & Sarah Brown on vocals, eventually turn up the stove once more for a lil samba-infused crescend
My little edit of this Euro-pop/Disco hit from the 2 Spanish ladies from 1977, i've cutted out the chorus, kept the verses for a more instrumental, less gooey experience.
My (vocal) edit of an instrumental cover of 10cc's classic.
A star chaser. My rendition interlude-style of Dimitri From Paris' 1992's Down To Earth Mix of Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards legendary production for the French pop-outlet Sheila & B. Devotion. Included in Suite 2 (Pop) Tamer's Grand Spring Affair III 'Glory Box' (Apr. '25).
Four on the floor stomper from Swedish indie pop band Miike Snow. It was released as the album's lead single on 23 January 2012 and heroically, forever written in history, included in EA SPORTS FIFA 13 Soundtrack as their sudden reach expanded to hundreds of millions of people. Because it is, so, so good. I just took the Instrumental and edited the vocal chorus in the final strofe. -- T.S. (23/3/25)
Free Palestine.
My reprise edit of the Instrumental Promo Version of Jennifer Lopez 1999 charting hit 'Feelin' So Good' without the rap verses by Big Pun and Fat Joe from the original. Key creative forces behind this gem with it's impeccable arrangements are, besides the lovely vocals of Jennifer Lopez herself, producers Cory Rooney and Rich Harrison.
My Instrumental Reprise of one-day-fly, though timeless - possibly eternal - summer hit, "the ultimate credible pop-song", by siblings Sharon and Marc Constanzo a.k.a Len, who conquered the charts in 1999 with "Steal My Sunshine".
Mash-up, edit if you will, from the luscious break in the original 12" from 1979 and parts of the later released M+M Mixes from John Morales and Sergio Munzibai, accompanied here with a little ode to the session musician.
Edit van instrumentale delen van 3 versies van de soul klassieker The O'Jays - Back Stabbers uit 1972 (de Original, Mike Maurro Mix en A Tom Moulton Mix) + om en nabij 50 'out of context' quotes van de legendarische, onafhankelijke Nederlandse journalist, schrijver en bewonderenswaardig iconoclast Willem Oltmans (1925 - 2004)...
Simple edit of the break and the instrumentals of the second track of the 1979 album 'Ain't Love Grand' by Hott City. To be served as an interlude.
My Interlude Edit of the break passages of The Crusaders famous hit Street Life featuring Randy Crawford, produced by Joe Sample.
Interlude of the break of 2004's chart-topping nu-disco blast 'Shine' by The Lovefreekz, seasoned with some wisdom by Simon Vinkenoog.
Tamer's Edit of an UK-Garage classic from 2001 by Scott & Leon.
Rough edit congregating the best parts of a lush soulful house effort from 2009 by Guy Robin, with a guest star performance of Level 42's saxophonist Sean Freeman.

The 6 minute intro of Sixties Medley, originally a 14 minute medley including some of Marvins best hits. But this intro always stuck with me, so i've cutted it for your listening pleasure.

"We're not talking about pops!" One of my Lush Break Outtake's of a true Philadelphia soul classic from 1973, with the iconic 4-way 'ode to mama' convo between the Intruders...
The irresistible Goes Dancin' break of Crown Heights Affairs dancefloor classic Dreaming A Dream (Goes Dancin') version (1975).
The break from the Extended Mix of Curtis' classic.

Endless love for YT-user @greenwingclips who put this excerpt out of an episode of season 2 of the legendary UK comedic effort Green Wing w/ Caroline Todd (Tamsin Greig), Guy Secretan (Stephen Mangan) & Doctor 'Mac' MacCartney (Julian Rhind-Tutt) on YouTube 19(!) years ago. I downloaded his original YT upload in to-be-expected 244px YT 2006 quality, and hard-baked some English subs into it for you to immerse yourself in the absurdly funny comedic skills of actors and writers involved.
"Because i've actually been to Katwijk, it's in Holland." Some astounding seemingly improvisational acting by Stephen Mangan (Guy Secretan) and Karl Theobald (Martin Dear) in a scene from the first (pilot) episode of one of the funniest comedy-series ever, the first season of Channel 4's "Green Wing" (2002-2007).
One of my favourite series ever, relatively untouched in it's absurdity, is the critically acclaimed British hospital-set comedy Green Wing (Channel 4, 2002 - 2004) - with 8 main characters, all medical personnel, all oddities of the highest degree. The one even more lunatic or deranged than the other. Season 1 holds 9 hour-long episodes, each one hilarious because of impeccable writing and acting performances. The 9th episode culminates in this final scene...
